NEW BLOOMFIELD, Pa. (AP) -- Residents getting ready for the Memorial Day parade in their central Pennsylvania town found some unwelcome items on their doorsteps. WHTM-TV (http://bit.ly/1IXAOCt ) reports a group called the Confederate White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan left recruiting letters inside small plastic bags at residences in the tiny borough in Perry County. That's about 20 miles northwest of Harrisburg. The flyers listed a phone number with a Maryland exchange, but the television station says nobody answered the number when their reporters called. Tyler Barlup, a mother of two, says she was appalled to find the flyers outside her house and her neighbors' and says, "I can't believe it's still happening today."
