WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) -- A 78-year-old northeastern Pennsylvania woman has died 11 days after police say she was attacked by her niece. The Luzerne County coroner said Dorothy Koreny of Hanover Township died Tuesday. She had been hospitalized in critical condition since March 28. Koreny's niece, 34-year-old Isis Brown, was arrested after police found Koreny lying on the sidewalk bleeding from her face and head. Police said the victim identified her niece as the assailant. According to court documents, a next-door neighbor's surveillance camera captured Brown throwing porcelain figurines at her elderly aunt, who can be seen lying on the ground. Officers say more charges will likely be filed against Brown.
