PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Mourners gathered to remember 46-year-old Constance Murray, who was found strangled in a park last week. The funeral was held Monday, a day after authorities announced that her husband, 48-year-old Christopher Murray, had been charged in the murder. Constance Murray, of northeast Philadelphia, had gone for a jog a week ago and never returned. Her body was discovered Tuesday morning. Her husband initially reported her missing, but Lt. Philip Riehl said Christopher Murray confessed to the killing after he failed a lie detector test. Police said Christopher Murray trailed his wife as she went out for a jog last week and they began to argue. Police said he then strangled his wife and left her near a bench in a park. Court papers don't list an attorney for him.
