ROSTRAVER, Pa. (AP) -- The wife of a Pennsylvania man and two other people have been arrested for allegedly plotting to murder her husband on Christmas Eve and mask the crime by pulling his teeth. Authorities allege that 26-year-old Kimberly Jane Thompkins, 24-year-old Robert Crosby, and 18-year-old Daryith Lorraine Stevens plotted to kill Adam Thompkins. On Tuesday Kimberly Thompkins allegedly drove her husband to Cedar Creek Park. That's 25 miles south of Pittsburgh. Crosby allegedly stabbed Adam Thompkins there just before noon. A bystander called police, who investigated and made the arrests. Thompkins, Crosby, and Stevens are facing attempted homicide and other charges. They're being held in the Westmoreland County jail, unable to post $100,000 bond each. No attorneys were listed on court papers. Adam Thompkins has reportedly been released from an area hospital.
