MONTAUK, N.Y. (AP) -- A scandal-plagued Philadelphia weatherman says a cabbie punched him and attacked him with a stun gun in Montauk, New York last month. John Bolaris says the incident happened July 6 when he hailed a cab and the driver tried to pick up another group instead. Bolaris tells Philly.com there was an argument and the driver punched him in the face. Bolaris says the driver then pulled out a stun gun and used it on him. An incident report from the East Hampton Town Police shows the driver was arrested on charges of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment. Bolaris gained notoriety when he testified that was the victim of a "bar girls" scam run by an international crime ring in Miami Beach in 2010.
