A child is shown tied to a post during Wilkes-Barre's St. Patrick's Day parade.
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) -- Police in northeastern Pennsylvania have been notified about a photograph posted on Facebook showing a child tied to a light pole during a St. Patrick's Day parade. The photo appears to show a child wearing a harness that is tied around a light pole, standing behind adults watching the parade in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday. The child's face cannot be seen in the picture. Wilkes-Barre police Lt. Steve Olshefski said Monday that no complaints or reports have been filed with the department or with 911. The photo appears to have been cropped before it was posted. Olshefski said it's unclear from the photo if the child is with adults. If that's the case, he said there's no crime being committed. Anyone with information is asked to contact Wilkes-Barre police.
