POCONO SUMMIT, Pa. (AP) -- A northeastern Pennsylvania man accused of a machete attack on his wife and son last week is behind bars after two fishermen reported their encounter with him to the Game Commission. Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested 46-year-old Paul Anthony Brown of Tobyhanna on Saturday after he emerged from the woods where he may have been hiding since the incident at his home in the Poconos on Wednesday. Brown is being held without bail on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment. Online court records indicate he's being represented by a public defender. Police say Brown slashed his wife, who lost a finger, and his 19-year-old son who was also injured when he tried to help her.
