GRANTVILLE, Pa. (AP) -- A 5-month-old girl was found unharmed in a Pennsylvania motel room where her parents had died from apparent gunshot wounds, authorities said Tuesday. The adults -- both of whom were in their early 20s -- were discovered at the Cottage Inn motel in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County just before 8 a.m. by people staying in another unit, PennLive.com reported. State Trooper Robert Hicks said police were not searching for a shooter, saying their investigation was focused on the crime scene at the motel. He said the baby girl was taken into custody by Children and Youth Services. "That child has been taken away from the scene and is being taken care of," Hicks told WHTM-TV. Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick told WGAL-TV that the dead couple was the child's parents, but said the investigation was just starting into how they died -- and why. "Whether it's a homicide, suicide, we're not sure," he said. "There's more players involved, and a lot of people were at the scene. We have to check a lot of things out; there's some things missing. We have to patch it all together and figure it all out." Autopsies on the couple, whose names were not released, were scheduled for Wednesday.
