GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- A squirrel that ended up in the back seat of a Michigan police car is out of trouble. The Grand Rapids Press reports that the animal hopped in on Thursday, apparently out of curiosity. The police department in Grand Rapids posted a photo on its Facebook page showing the squirrel peering out from the rear window of the car, next to a half-opened window. The animal didn't spend any time behind bars, however. It soon went free.
