Alleged coin laundry thief sought by police

BLOOMSBURG -- Police want your help in identifying a man who they say stole a couple hundred dollars from washers and dryers at the Wash and Shop laundry in the Market Street Plaza last month. The man pictured here, and another man, entered around 6:50 p.m. July 20 (not July 21 as the photo says) and were able to access the coin safes on each machine. He left with a couple hundred dollars in change. So far, police have not been able to identify him. Officer Melanie Readler asks that anyone who may know the man call her at 570-784-4155, ext. 163.
