UNION TWP. – Police are still looking for two people who entered a home outside Shickshinny, tied up the couple who lived there and robbed them on Monday afternoon.

Two people, armed with a handgun, got into William and Donna Lear's home at 69 Sorber Road here at 2 p.m. Monday. Police said they took several things from the house before tying up the Lears. The Lears were able to free themselves, police said. Witnesses reported a red vehicle leaving the area of the home about that time.

Troopers from Shickshinny, Wyoming and Tunkhannock stations helped with the investigation, along with the State Police Forensic Services Unit, according to a press release.
