Roads remain closed; power still out in spots

Last updated: July 9, 2014 - 2:28pm

Two area roads remain closed today in the aftermath of Tuesday night's storm, PennDOT says.

Fowlersville Road from Harris Road to Cabin Run Road is closed in North Centre Township, due to a tree down across the road.
• In Montour County, Strick Road from Route 54 in Anthony Township to California Road in Limestone Township was shut down, but reopened around 2 p.m.

PPL's outage map is reporting more than 2,700 customers in Columbia and Montour counties remain without power this morning, with the largest concentrations in Liberty Township. There, 666 customers had no power as of noon. In Columbia County, 583 homes and businesses in the Millville area were without electricity, the map reported.
