Here are the stories keeping our reporters busy Tuesday:

• Wrecked recycling: In one township, someone keeps dropping off junk at what's supposed to be a depot for recyclables.

• Pierced heart: A man is suing a local hospital, saying his wife died during an unnecessary heart surgery.

• Constable must pay: A constable must pay about $1,000 he owes to the court system or face jail, a judge rules.

• Less charity needed: An area hospital says it needed to offer less charity care last year than previous ones because of health care reform.
