HEARING NOTICE The Bloomsburg Zoning Hearing Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, Bloomsburg Town Hall, Bloomsburg, Pa. to review and possibly take action on the following: 1. An appeal submitted by Community Strategies Group, 160 W. 6 th Street, Bloomsburg, PA for the property located at 236-238 W. Ridge Avenue, Bloomsburg, PA. For relief from Ordinance 1055, Chapter 27, Part 8, Section 27-1102 Definitions. The applicant requested a determination regarding constructing residential dwellings and then rent them to Columbia County to house individuals on probation or persons who were recently released from prison. The applicant is appealing the determination of the Zoning Officer that this classification would be considered a Half-Way House.
