Society for Creative Anachronism member Jessica Charles, left, of Lewisburg, passes an aroma sample to Danville High School senior Kendra Foust during a visit with senior English students in the school library on Tuesday. The students have been reading Beowulf, The Canterbury Tales and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and the visit by the Society members introduces them to the customs of the Middle Ages.
