SCRANTON (AP) — Flags were flying at half-staff in a northeastern Pennsylvania city where authorities planned to file additional charges against three teens charged in a robbery that led to a police officer's death.

Scranton Patrolman John Wilding died Sunday, a day after falling some 15 feet after jumping a fence while chasing the suspects.

The teens are already charged with robbery, weapons possession and terroristic threats stemming from a heist about 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

Luzerne County Assistant District Attorney Gene Talerico says more charges will be filed, though he declined to specify what they will be.

The 17-year-old suspects, Tanner Curtis and Nasiir Sheldon Jones of Scranton, and Malik Edwards, who is listed as homeless, have already been charged as adults with the other crimes. Online court records don't list attorneys for them.
