House fire kills woman in Luzerne County

ASHLEY, Pa. (AP) — A house fire in Luzerne County has claimed the life of a 65-year-old woman.

County Coroner Wiliam Lisman said Kimberly Krakauski was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. Sunday. An autopsy is expected Monday.

Lisman says Krakauski lived alone in the house on Green Street.

The fire was reported just after midnight. The cause remains under investigation.
