PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Police say a 21-year-old man has been hospitalized in critical but stable condition after being shot at a Pittsburgh playground near where children and other adults were playing basketball. Pittsburgh police Sgt. Chad O'Brien tells The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (bit.ly/1dTWv6F) that the man suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and leg during the shooting at Grandview Playground around 6:10 p.m. Sunday. Police did not release the victim's name. He lives in the city's Belzhoover section. O'Brien says after the shooting police searched a nearby wooded area for two suspects but did not find them. It was not immediately known what prompted the shooting. He says about 15 people were in the park when shots rang out. There were no other injuries.
