HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- A central Pennsylvania teenager is charged with killing her 11-week-old daughter. Authorities say 19-year-old Latoya Green of Harrisburg was arrested Wednesday on charges of criminal homicide, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. Her newborn girl, Zai'mera Eden, was declared brain dead and taken off life support at Penn State Hershey Medical Center on Feb. 4, five days after being admitted to the hospital for bleeding in the brain. An autopsy determined the infant had suffered traumatic brain injuries. Investigators said she also had rib fractures at different stages of healing, indicating multiple incidents of abuse over several weeks. Green is awaiting arraignment in Dauphin County. It couldn't be determined if she had an attorney.
