We can't say we'd feel confident enough to reboard this flight, but Siberian airline passengers clearly have a different level of tolerance for troubles that happen with that giant metal tube that's about to shoot them through the sky. Maybe you develop that type of thing when you live in a climate where temperatures reach negative 62 -- especially if you're an oil worker in that area. On Wednesday, an airliner set for takeoff at the in the northern Russian city of Igarka got stuck on the snow-and-ice-covered runway after the severe temperatures locked up its braking system. How did passengers respond? They got out and pushed. You can see a video of the passengers -- made up of oil industry workers -- pushing the plane around here:They were eventually able to help maneuver the 61,640-pound, 122-foot-long passenger jet into position, and were soon bound for their destination, according to reports from the Russian news agency TASS.ru and BuzzFeed. Officials are now investigating whether the plane had undergone proper maintenance, TASS.ru reported. "As for the passengers, many of them found amusement in the incident. One of them is heard on the video noting the several things that make a real man's life worth living: Writing a book, planting a tree, or at least bracing one's muscles to help an immobilised passenger plane take to the skies."
