What's the worst accent in America? Scranton's in the running, hayna?

The gossip website Gawker is setting out to find the most annoying accent in the U.S., polling its many online readers in an NCCA-tournament-type bracket. Little surprise, there was no shortage of competition from the Keystone State, and three of its cities moved into the Elite Eight. Among them is Scranton, the old coal town just to our north. If you're not too familiar with the native accent of Scrantonians, here's a pretty good primer:Also advancing to the final eight was Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, although Philly just got bumped by the Steel City in the latest voting. Also still in the mix are New York, Boston, Providence and Tallahassee, Scranton's next opponent.
