ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Owner:	Columbia County Commissioners 11 West Main Street Main Street County Annex Bloomsburg, PA 17815 Sealed bids for two separate projects: T-365 Bridge Repair Project, County Bridge No. 50, which involves constructing a reinforced concrete pier jacket, removing and replacing the existing bituminous wearing surface, installing a waterproofing membrane, and cleaning and painting the existing steel I-beams and bridge railing, and Bridge Repair Project, T-373 (Esther Furnace Road) over Roaring Creek, which involves removal or replacement of several non-structural timber members damaged during a vehicular impact, will be received by the Columbia County Commissioners, 11 West Main Street, Main Street County Annex, Bloomsburg, PA 17815, until 1:00 p.m. (prevailing time), February 2, 2017. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on February 2, 2017 at the regularly scheduled Commissioners meeting held at the First Street Annex, 26 First Street, Bloomsburg, PA, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The bidders and the public are welcome to attend the meeting. The CONTRACT DRAWINGS and the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS must be obtained from the following website; http://bidplans.larsondesigngroup.com. Interested parties are required to register on the website for the ability to view and/or acquire the Construction Drawings and the Contract Documents & Technical Specifications for this project. It is the responsibility of any person or organization interested in a hard copy of the Bidding Documents to pay all costs associated with printing. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. Bidders must submit with their initial bid, a statement as to whether they have previously performed work subject to the President's Executive Order No. 11246 (30 F.R. 12319-25) "Equal Opportunity Clause". The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, or to limit the scope of work involved. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
