Here are the stories keeping our reporters busy Tuesday:

Fight for the right … to make noise: One borough has won the right to enforce its own noise ordinance on bars within its boundaries. That should allow one beer garden to host outdoor concerts again.

Early birds: They show up on the fairgrounds before sunrise and some leave soon after the gates open. We'll tell you what these early risers are after.

Not just minorities: A day after Hispanic and black families in Berwick reported KKK flyers showing up at their homes, police say the leaflets have shown up in other towns and in front of the houses of white families as well.

Dismissed: A man spent two weeks in jail, charged with threatening his neighbor. He went before a judge with no lawyer, but walked out a free man.
