Most area schools have announced they plan to let students out early today, as snow and freezing rain approach. Here's the list, according to wnep.com and whlmam.com: * Benton, 12:30 p.m. Dismissal * Berwick, Secondary noon; Elementary 12:45 p.m. dismissal * Bloomsburg Area, Secondary noon; Elementary 1 p.m. dismissal * Bloomsburg Christian, 12:30 p.m., no p.m. activities * Central Columbia, Middle/High School noon; Elementary 1 p.m. dismissal * Columbia County Christian, closing at noon, learning center open, no p.m. activities * Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech, early dismissal * Danville, dismissing 3 hours early * East Lycoming, all schools dismissing at noon * Millville, Elementary 12:20 p.m.; High School 12:30 p.m. * Mount Carmel, High School 10:30 a.m.; Elementary School walkers, 11:20 a.m.; Elementary School buses, 11:30 and 11:45 a.m. * Northwest, High School 11:30 a.m.; Elementary 12:30 p.m. * Shamokin, High School 11:15 a.m.; Elementary 11:45 a.m.; no p.m. Pre-School Counts * St. Joseph's Danville, 11:45 a.m. * Southern Columbia, 11:45 a.m., p.m. activities canceled. * Warrior Run, Elementary 12:45 p.m.; Secondary 1 p.m.
