Two shot dead in Orange Township, police say

ORANGE TWP. — Police say a son killed his parents at a home at 273 Hartman Hollow Road on Thursday night.

Carl Ray Kressler, 18, is under arrest in connection with the deaths of Flint W. Kressler, 51, and Sharon J. Kressler, 60, according to a release from the State Police.

Around 10 p.m. Thursday, troopers from State Police at Bloomsburg were called to the home on Hartman Hollow, where they found Flint Kressler and Sharon Kressler dead of gunshot wounds.

After investigating, police determined Carl Kressler was responsible for their deaths, a press release states.

Kressler was arraigned before District Judge Doug Brewer in Millville on Friday. He is charged with homicide and other counts.
