Victim tells story behind alleged Berwick stabbing

Robert Lee Longenberger Sr., 56, shows his injuries in the waiting area of District Judge Richard Knecht's office Monday. Longenberger was allegedly stabbed by his now ex-girlfriend, Linda Potoeski, 54. The knife, which left the smaller gash on his lower left abdomen, pierced his large intestine, he said. That forced doctors to cut a much larger slice, now medically stapled together, to remove a portion of the intestine, Longenberger said.
