John Elway's business partner and former agent has died after falling off a golf cart Elway was driving.

According to a TMZ report, Jeff Sperbeck, 62, was riding in the back of the golf cart Saturday evening in La Quinta, California, when he fell and hit his head on asphalt. He was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.

TMZ confirmed that Elway was driving the golf cart when the incident occurred, though "there's no indication he did anything wrong," TMZ wrote. The former Broncos quarterback immediately called 911 after the accident.

Generation Z, or those born roughly between 1997 and 2012, are experiencing a gender gap like none other currently.

A new poll by NBC News, published April 27, found the partisan divide between men and women ages 18 to 29 is wider than any other age range surveyed.

Fifty-three percent of Gen Z women said they identified as Democrat, compared to 35% of men that age who said the same. Meanwhile, 38% of young men surveyed called themselves Republicans versus 20% of young women who identified as part of the GOP.

President Donald Trump is dismissing concerns that tariffs on imported goods from China could raise consumer costs, saying in an interview that "China probably will eat those tariffs."

Trump was asked about the trade war with China in an ABC News interview airing April 29.

ABC News anchor and Senior National Correspondent Terry Moran said the 145% tariffs are "basically an embargo."

"That's good," Trump responded. "They deserve it."

Economists say the tariffs could lead to higher prices on a range of imported goods.

BEIRUT (AP) — Israeli jets struck Beirut’s southern suburbs Sunday after issuing a warning about an hour earlier, marking the third Israeli strike on the area since a ceasefire took effect in late November.

In a statement following the strike, the Israeli military said it targeted a precision-guided missile storage facility for the militant Hezbollah group. It added that storing such equipment is a violation of the agreement reached to end the Israel-Hezbollah war.
