Here's a look at the stories our reporters are working for Friday's edition:
* The highly-publicized death of a young doctor from Pittston has been billed a mystery, but a local coroner says the cause doesn't appear to match the intrigue. Chris Krepich has more on the story.
* A couple who allegedly abandoned three dogs at a trailer without food or water responds to the cruelty accusations. Leon Bogdan spoke with the accused pair.
* An accused heroin addict is in court on charges that he and an accomplice stole an arsenal of guns from a home. Reporter Kristin Baver is there for the case.
* Plus, two retiring schoolteachers are sent off with a big surprise from their students. Chief Photographer Bill Hughes was there to capture the action.
Look for these stories and more in Friday's edition of the Press Enterprise.
