Here's a look at the stories keeping our reporters busy Tuesday:
* One of the people who had been squatting on a Berwick property was arrested and faces hundreds in fines. Reporter Julye Wemple has more.
* A tractor-trailer's wheels kick out during a downpour and the rig overturns. See our breaking report and look for Susan Schwartz's full report Wednesday.
* The first thing a mother does when her daughter shows up for her hearing is check her arms for fresh track marks -- a sign she is still shooting up heroin. Julye Wemple has more from the courtroom.
* A mom whose young child was found alone, roaming the neighborhood, says she has sleep-deprivation problems, and the child has behavioral issues. Read what else she had to say about what happened.
* Another Danville-area teen is in court on charges stemming from a post-prom party bust. Chris Krepich will tell you the bargain she struck.
* Plus, one local school board says it won't need to lay off any workers to make ends meet next school year. Mike Lester has a story on the budget plan.
Look for these stories and more in Wednesday's edition of the Press Enterprise.
