Here's a look at the stories that are keeping our reporters busy Thursday:
* A wreck involving an animal trailer slows traffic along Route 11, and a medical helicopter is on the way. Reporter Julye Wemple and photographer Keith Haupt just returned from the scene. See our breaking report and check back for more.
* Police believe they have the man who tied a dog to a pole on Wednesday. Reporter Leon Bogdan is with officers.
* Despite being fired from a hospital, a woman returns time after time, getting into secure areas and stealing drugs, police say. Chris Krepich reports.
* A big recreational vehicle gets hung up making a hard turn, snarling traffic. Chief Photographer Bill Hughes will show you what happened.
* Jail is a rotten place to be, a suspect tells his mother during a court appearance. Kristin Baver will have the story about what happens to him next.
* Plus, small-claims lawsuits are filed in district judges' offices, and defendants are ordered to pay up.
Look for these stories and more in Thursday's edition of the Press Enterprise.
