What we're working on for Nov. 29
Posted: November 28, 2012 - 5:10pm

Here's a look at the local stories we're working on for Thursday's edition: * A man is killed in a crash on Route 11 near the PPL nuclear plant. * More details are to come on Wednesday's arrest of a suspected Mocanaqua arsonist. (See what we have so far here.) * A woman who embezzled more than $14,000 from Berwick's AYSO soccer program and Girl Scouts is sentenced to six months in prison. She tells the court she stole in order to avoid "something worse" and is trying to "restore credibility" after her conviction. * A Benton couple convicted of raping a boy repeatedly over several years will spend eight to 20 years in state prison, despite pleas of innocence and support from a large group of church members in court Wednesday.
