Here's a look at the local stories we're working on for Friday's edition: * A Bloomsburg man convicted of sexually assaulting a woman he met at a bar says the charge cost him his job, his house and his life. He's headed off to prison. * A mother and grandmother say they planned to steal only a birthday cake from Walmart, but they got carried away and made off with $866 in merchandise. A security guard fingered the two as crooks on their exit. * The Berwick Retirement Village beefs up security of patient records after an office worker is accused of stealing thousands of dollars. * When handyman Denny Garrison is asked about the services he offers, he tells people: "Don't ask me what I will do. Ask me what I won't do." We profile Fernville's jack of all trades. Look for these stories and more in Friday's Press Enterprise.
