An excavator from Madonna Enterprises, Port Carbon, continues demolition of the last-standing walls of the Magee mansion, a steel-framed, stone-and-brick structure on West Main Street in Bloomsburg, on Tuesday. The Prairie-style house was built in 1947 for Harry Magee, then-president of Magee Carpet Co. The structure is owned by Bloomsburg University and has been unoccupied since the 2011 flood.
