A crew with HRI, Inc. of State College continues construction of the Dump Hill Road replacement bridge over Nescopeck Creek in Nescopeck Township on Tuesday. Construction of the three-span spread box beam bridge is expected to be completed in October. The old open grate steel truss bridge was built in 1905. It was closed to traffic in 2016 and demolished last year.
Bathers, including campers from Camp Epachiseca at Zaners Bridge,  take to the water at the Little Fishing Creek Area Swimming Pool in Millville on Monday afternoon. The pool is open six days a week from noon to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. There is an adult swim from 11 a.m. to noon Monday to Saturday and noon to 1 p.m. on Sunday. Sunday admission is half price.
