WASHINGTONVILLE -- Crews worked most of Monday to restore power knocked out to 364 customers here, a PPL spokesman said. An underground cable failure caused the outage, and repair teams were still on the job of replacing it this evening, according to the utility official. The outage started about 4 a.m., and electricity service should be restored by 9 tonight, the spokesman said.
