Firefighters to his door: Every time sirens go off, one 4-year-old rushes to the window in his toy helmet to see where fire trucks are headed. Tuesday, it was to his house.

• Sewer service? In one township, industries and the schools want to connect to a public sewer. The supervisors consider the move tonight.

Supervisor accused: A sporting goods store supervisor is accused of sexually assaulting one of his employees.

• Robber sentenced: One of the trio who tied up an elderly couple and then looted their house will spend the next decade or more in prison.
