Damien Scoblink began writing for the Press Enterprise in the summer of 2010, and he has been honored for his writing by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. He is a Berwick native who graduated from Temple University in 2008 with a degree in elementary education. As he has no athletic ability himself, sports writing seemed like a reasonable alternative to actually participating.
