Reliance Fire Co. a staging area for evacuees

Deven Harvey, his girlfriend, Courtney Smith, and her children Connor, 3, and Aleeah, 2, were among the first to arrive at the Reliance Firehouse on Monday afternoon after it opened as a staging area for residents affected by flooding. The family, from Berwick's Berlin Trailer Court, said although other residents of the trailer court were reluctant to leave, they wanted to get to safety quickly in case flooding became a reality.

UPDATE: The shelter for flooding victims is now the Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School at 5050 Sweppenheiser Drive, Bloomsburg....
