Schools dismissing early with threat of snow

With rain expected to turn into snow, multiple area school districts have announced plans to shut down early. Among them are:

• Benton: Early dismissal at 10:45 a.m.

• Berwick: Secondary students will be dismissed at 11:15.; Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:00.

• Bloomsburg: 11:15am for all middle and high school students and 12:15pm for all elementary school students.

• Central Columbia: 11:30 a.m. high school and middle school, 12:30 p.m. elementary schools.

• Danville: 11 a.m. high school and middle school; 11:15 a.m. Liberty Valley and the Primary School.

• Millville: Early dismissal at noon

• Northwest: Early dismissal

• Southern Columbia: Early dismissal at 11:30 a.m.
