General Property Claims Adjuster Are you interested in a career in insurance? Come join our team as a Property Claims Adjuster, an excellent way to learn the insurance industry. Due to growth, we are adding a position. This position handles property claims and uses our office as a home base. Position will mainly be a desk adjuster but may also inspect some claims in the field. Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary to excel in this position. College degree preferred and paralegal, contract and/or construction experience would be helpful. Insurance producer license or willingness to obtain one is a plus. Responsibilities include inspecting property claims, interviewing insured, estimating cost of damage, photographing damage, determining insurance coverage, writing reports and maintaining files, reviewing estimates by contractors and negotiating settlements.
