HEARING NOTICE The Pine Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 9:00 AM at the Pine Township Municipal Building, 309 Wintersteen School Road, Millville, PA 17846. The purpose of this hearing will be to hear and take testimony on a Conditional Use Application for Pine School Solar LLC. Property owners are Ray A. and Joy E. Bortz, 14 Pine School Road, Millville, PA 17846. The subject property is located at the same address. The reason for the Conditional Use request is to allow for the construction of a 5MW AC ground-mounted solar array to be built in the (V) Village Zoning District. The Pine Township Zoning Ordinance does not specifically allow for this use, therefore the use must be authorized by the Board of Supervisors as a Conditional Use. (Article 4, Section 401 - Uses Not Provided For). Said application is also subject to the Conditional Use Requirements of Article 11, Section 1101 of the Pine Township Zoning Ordinance. Interested parties or their legal representatives may attend and present testimony.
