PUBLIC NOTICE Catawissa Township, Columbia County A hearing will be held for a proposed Ordinance 09-2023 on the regulation of Solar Energy Systems by the Catawissa Township Supervisors on August 08, 2023, at the Catawissa Township Building, 153 Old Reading Road, Catawissa, PA.at 11:00am. The Ordinance proposes certain requirements including, installation, maintenance, security, issues of glare and decommissioning of solar energy systems in the township, which includes ground, wall or roof mounted systems. The Ordinance includes: I. Introduction II. Definitions III. Principal Solar Energy Systems (PSES) 3.1 Regulations Applicable to all PSES 3.2 Ground Mounted PSES 3.3 Accessory Solar Energy System 3.4 Roof and Wall Mounted PSES 3.5 Zoning Permit and Ordinance Enforcement The Township supervisors will hear public comments to the proposed Ordinance.
