INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be received by Danville Borough of Montour County, PA, at 463 Mill Street, Danville, PA 17821 until 1:30 PM, on June 26, 2025, to be opened on June 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Danville Borough Municipal Building for the following: D & G Contract Furnish and place approximately 2,420 Ton Driving Surface Aggregate; 5,240 SY Geotextile and perform 7,200 SY Scarify, Grade and Compact. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall be paid on the project. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Bids may be held by Danville Borough for up to 30 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
