PUBLIC NOTICE Monday, August 11, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mahoning Township Building located at 849 Bloom Road, Danville, Pennsylvania 17821, the Supervisors of the Township of Mahoning, Montour County, Pennsylvania, will consider an ordinance to change the speed limit on a section of Red Lane. The ordinance will reduce the permitted maximum speed limit for the area on Red Lane between Danville-Mahoning Township line and Powder Mill Road, to 25 miles per hour. The current speed limit for that section, as posted, is 35 miles per hour. Additionally, 223-39 and 223-40 of the Townships ordinances will be amended to reference the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code in its entirety, rather than a specific section contained therein.
