Town blocks comments on social media
BLOOMSBURG — The town is no longer letting people comment on its social media posts — a policy change that one legal expert says threatens the rights of the public guaranteed by the First Amendment.
The decision was made so town staff — namely Town Manager Lisa Dooley — will not have to spend time deleting vulgar language or slanderous comments.
