Eight cited for having guns at Pa. gun rally
ERIE, Pa. (AP) -- Police have cited eight people for violating a northwestern Pennsylvania city ordinance banning guns in parks during a rally in support of open-carry laws.
Twenty-six-year-old Justin Dillon, of Erie, organized the June rally and tells the Erie Times-News (http://bit.ly/15p8PEB) he was one of eight people cited.
Before the rally, Dillon sued claiming the ordinance was illegal under the Pennsylvania constitution and the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
