Woman gathers signatures in effort against data centers
BRIAR CREEK TWP. – A Briar Creek resident is standing by the docks at Briar Creek Lake from noon to 6 p.m. every day this week, collecting signatures from residents who oppose data centers coming into the township.
Stephanie Davis, 49, Mountain Lane, said Monday she already has about a page and a half filled with signatures. She and her husband, Terry Davis, 49, started going door to door last Thursday to get signatures.
Data center ordinance may be ready for a review soon
DANVILLE — An ordinance to regulate date centers within Montour County may be ready to be reviewed by the Montour County Planning Commission as early as its Jan. 21 meeting.
Bridge repairs await timber delivery
