Here's a look at what we're working on for our Christmas-morning edition: * A 64-year-old Danville man forced a woman into sex acts while giving her a ride home while her husband shuttled her Jazzy scooter to their apartment at an elderly housing complex, police say. * Berwick Hospital is hoping to woo the Bulldogs athletics training program - and it's $38,000 contract - away from Geisinger. * A team of Berwick High varsity cheerleaders advances to a national competition.

What we're working on for Dec. 20

Here's a look at what our reporters are working on for Thursday's paper: * A man convicted of slashing a scrap-yard worker's throat will face 20 to 40 years in prison after nearly killing the man. * An estranged boyfriend who held his former partner hostage and had sex with the woman is bound for a prison cell for up to 20 years. * Area police will have a new weapon at their disposal in case of disasters or dangerous situations: an armored assault vehicle with a gun turret, thermal camera and the ability to inject tear gas into buildings. What we're working on for Dec. 14

Here's a look at what our reporters are working on for Friday's edition: * A mother allegedly helps her son steal $527 of shaving products, then lies to police in an attempt to get him off the hook. * A local hunter will not have to face charges that he lied about whether he used a gun or a bow to kill a bear. He still stands accused, however, of violating a PFA by having a rifle. * A Danville man's behavior at Walmart gets him banned -- not just here, but from stores accross the country.
