Many area schools have announced a delay in school opening times this morning, due to icy roads. Northwest Area has closed for the day, according to the list at wnep.com. Berwick police seek stabbing suspect

BERWICK -- A man stabbed a woman in an alley near LaSalle Street on Sunday night, police say. Now Berwick police are looking for the man, described as a white male in his early 20s between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, with a thin build. He possibly has dark brown hair. Last night, he was wearing a black jacket, black knit cap and jeans. He was last spotted headed north on LaSalle toward Freas Avenue and New Road. Police ask anyone with information on the stabbing to call police at 752-3677 or tips@berwick-pa.com.

Police seek robbery suspect

BLOOMSBURG -- Police are searching for a Bloomsburg University student wanted in an alleged armed robbery late Sunday night. Authorities say two assailants with a handgun were involved in the mugging in the 400 block of East Fourth St. around 9:20 p.m. March 17. One person was in police custody by Monday morning. But Samuel Andre Jeannot, 22, remained at large and is being considered armed and dangerous, police say. The hand gun used in the theft had not been recovered, police note. Police asking for help finding man "of interest" in fight

BLOOMSBURG -- Town Police are looking for the man who was seen in the vicinity of a fight or assault on Iron Street near Main Street this past Friday, March 8, around 2:38 a.m. The man left the area walking east on Main Street, then was seen driving off in a black passenger vehicle. Town Police ask that anyone with information on this man contact Officer Ryan Edgar at (570) 784-6779.
